Subsidiary company of Interpark which provides easy payment service

Yelopay is the subsidiary company of Interpark which offers Fin-Tech from 2012. Yelopay is the first listed member of Konness And also Yelopay was registered as the electronic financial business operator in the Financial Supervisory Service. Yelopay provides payment and settlement service which is similar to debit card only by registering the number of cell phone. And you not only pay but also remit and claim within the limit of budget of registered accounts.

Background

Find a way to supplement the shortcoming of server hosting

Yelopay considered server hosting to build the service. However there was a few problems. First, since it took more time to deliver the servers than as expected, it was hard to build server quickly. And since it’s hard to predict the number of connectors, the worry about scalability of infrastructure got more deeper. And there was also a burden of expense to purchase server in the limited budget.

What did KINX do?

Provide flexible cloud infrastructure and careful management service

KINX suggested cloud infrastructure to solve Yelopay’s worries. It not only shortened the time of server construction but also expended the infrastructure depending on the change of traffic. Through this, Yelopay could use the instance (virtual server) more quickly.
Also, KINX provided the management service which fits to Yelopay. To enhance the stability of data, KINX supported DB server redundancy and it lessened the risk of data loss. And KINX also made the service more stable through back-up using the external resources.

Effect

Quick server construction and customized management service which makes the service more stable

Using server hosting, infrastructure setting was expected to need more than 3 weeks. However Yelopay could construct the server only in 3 days by choosing KINX’S IX Cloud service. Also KINX’s customized management service including DB server redundancy and external back-up made Yelopay’s service more stable.
