KINX-IPV6
IX Reference

IPV4 can support only upto approx. 4.3 billion addresses and there will be short of IP addresses in 2006 when we consider the increase trend of worldwide Internet Hosts. Therefore, there is increasing interest on the necessity of IPV6, when and how IPV6 shall be introduced. The abrupt increase of hosts using IP address will be clearly noticed in the fields of information, consumer electronics, wireless, and other business areas as well as existing network equipments

As a single neutral IX in Korea, KINX is playing a critical role in the operation and development of Internet. As an IX implemented to secure national competitiveness in the area of V6 network, it implemented IPV6 IX which is a next-generation network to promote early introduction of IPV6 network and ISP migration. KINX-V6 takes care of domestic and international Exchange Point business through internetworking among international V6 Networks and also internetworking with domestic NGIX. KINX-V6 provides both IPV6 Tunnel and Translator to activate IPV6 and it also provides V6 FTP and DNS Service
